Ramit Debnath

Research Associate

Ramit has a background in electrical engineering and sustainable development. He uses data science to inform public policy with special focus on energy and climate justice. He is interested in using advanced natural language processing and computational social science techniques to evaluate grounded voice on distributive injustices. He is currently a visiting scholar at International Energy Agency in France, where he is working on renewable integration and secure electricity for India. He had previously held research positions at Stanford University, SciencesPo and Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
At Cambridge, he is a member of the Energy Policy Research Group at Cambridge Judge Business School and AI for Environmental Risk, Department of Earth Sciences.
